Spinal Decompression

Non-surgical spinal decompression with the DRX-9000 is a therapeutic technique designed to alleviate pain and discomfort associated with certain spinal conditions, typically those related to disc problems. The DRX-9000 is a specific device used for spinal decompression therapy. Here’s a brief overview:

The DRX-9000 utilizes a computerized system to apply controlled vertebral distraction without muscle contraction to the spine. This gentle, targeted force aims to create negative pressure within the intervertebral discs, promoting the retraction or repositioning of herniated or bulging discs.

The primary goal of non-surgical spinal decompression is to relieve pressure on spinal nerves and facilitate the healing of damaged discs. By reducing compression, the treatment aims to enhance nutrient and oxygen flow to the affected area, promoting healing.

During a session, the patient typically lies on the DRX-9000 table while the device applies a specific amount of force to the spine. The treatment is carefully controlled to avoid causing any additional trauma to the spine.

Non-surgical spinal decompression with the DRX-9000 is often employed for conditions such as herniated discs, bulging discs, degenerative disc disease, sciatica, and certain cases of chronic back pain.

Treatment sessions are usually spread over several weeks, with each session lasting around 30 minutes to an hour. The exact duration and frequency depend on the severity of the condition and the individual’s response to the therapy.

Reasons Why Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression is a Better Option for Disc Herniation

What if you could see the disc increase in size without risky medications, shots, or surgery? Our treatment program nets an average of 50% increase in the disc height. You heard that correct. That means the nerve root has more space and pressure off the nerve root is what you really want!  Nerve root compression causes numbness, tingling, pain and so much more. See some of the examples below. And please continue reading for your own sake!!

Have you’ve been diagnosed with a disc herniation or disc degeneration? Chances are you might be worried about your options for recovery. Well you should be!

However, you’ll be pleased to know that our non-surgical spinal decompression program is a great alternative to risky procedures. A disc herniation occurs when the jelly-like spinal disc  loses its integrity and bulges, pushes out from its normal space. It can also degenerate from abnormal motion of the spinal vertebrae.  This can press on the nerve root in your spine, causing pain, numbness or tingling in your legs, feet hips and more. Fortunately, spinal decompression is a very effective way to relieve the pain and repair disc herniation for many patients. Here are some facts:

Surgery is Risky – Did you know that up to 74% of back surgeries fail and leave patients in pain.

Spinal Injections Increase Risk of Bone Fractures – A 2013 study found that every single epidural spinal injection increases the risk of spinal fractures by 21% (Annals of Internal Medicine, Nov. 13, 2012) concluded the injections provided only slight, short-term (less than one year) improvement in leg pain and disability—but no back-pain benefit.

Our Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression System provides a treatment system for patients suffering with incapacitating low back pain and sciatica, specifically to improve the quality of life for those suffering from herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, and other back ailments.
